My name is Armela Muca, and I am currently a senior in the University of New Hampshire’s Nursing Program. I was born on March 11, 1990 in Tirana, Albania. I moved to the United States when I was five years old and have been residing in Haverhill, MA most of my life with my parents, Arian and Mirela, and my younger sister, Kiara. My family is my biggest support system, especially with nursing. Due to my upbringing, I am bilingual in Albanian and English, and I have also studied Latin and Greek in high school. I graduated from Haverhill High School as a member of the National Honor Society in May 2008. I am currently employed as a part-time shift manager at CVS Pharmacy, a wedding and event service staff at Renaissance Gulf Club, and a waitress at the Texas Roadhouse. While working on obtaining my Baccalaureate degree with an expected graduation in May 2012, I have gained the experience and opportunity in impacting the health and lives of people.
